I had an old long roll in the fridge and some grated Monterey Jack cheese, I cut the roll buttered it toasted in the broiler added cheese melted under the broiler put it together and Voilà.

I’ve been in the exact same situation with only hotdog buns and pizza cheese lol. Dip it in marinara sauce lol.
