Fig Carpaccio With Prosciutto
Sliced prosciutto
Sweet Dried or fresh figs
Your favorite salad mix for topping
fruit and nut mix salad toppers
parmesan cheese or your favorite cheese to top it
a great olive oil
fig balsamic vinaigrette
Assemble by removing stims from the figs and if using fresh figs, remove the outer skin. Half them and flatten onto your serving platter as shown. Top with prosciutto. It is recommended to cut the prosciutto into bite size pieces first (it is easier to serve onto your baguette or cracker. top with your salad mix and salad topper with cheese. Finish with olive oil and the fig balsamic vinaigrette.
This is such a crowd pleaser for sure! This would be a great option for Thanksgiving as a starter! It will be gone in no time at all!
