I hate to say it but I think Luv2Eat is starting to go downhill. This has been my favorite place for Thai food for the past few years but this recent trip was pretty disappointing. The pork skewers had great flavor but most of the skewers had waaaay too much fat on them. One of my skewers was literally half fat. The papaya salad, normally outstanding, was overly sweet and lacked acidity. The fried chicken with fried shallots and sticky rice was also just meh. It tasted like they were fried in old oil. At least the drunken noodles were still excellent.
I’m hoping I just caught them on an off day. Has anyone else been recently? What was your experience?
$100 with tax and tip. Service was quick. Free parking in the small lot of the strip mall. Cash or card accepted. 6 out of 10 sadly.
