Happy Tuesday, sweet friend. Hope you're doing well this lovely evening. Fantastic haul. You got a lot for your money. I wish we had an Aldi nearby. The closest one to us is over 30 minutes away and always a cluster to get in.

Never heard of marshmallows and most know of a slice of apple but if my brown sugar starts hardening, I just throw a slice of cheap bbread in it. Next day if not sooner, just fine. I then take it out maybe after a couple of days or sooner. If I need to do again at another point, repeat act. I have to say I've never heard of marshmallows to keep it soft. I wouldn't have them anyhow ever on hand, I never buy them. I don/t have kids at home and and grandkids are now late teens and I sure don't have need for them. But interesting to know–just wanted to mention a slice of bread for anyone who has never heard of that one. Something most people always have.
My sister and I do our Aldi haul tomorrow! It’s German week (month) here (St. Charles, MO) and a lot of the German foods and treats are coming in!! Last week I got chicken schnitzel, but I haven’t cooked it yet as well as Bavarian style pretzels and sweet treats! Yay, I love most German foods since my dad was in the Army and was stationed there when I was a teenager. You got a great haul and quite a bit of meat for your money! Have a good rest of the week. PS how is Gavin enjoying college?

My Aldies fill in hauls are on Tuesdays Just for the basics fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread, lunch meat, is always at least 60 or $70. Everything is high! Aldies is the cheapest place though.
