I stumbled upon this post while researching applications of SA to chilli and tomato plants to increase disease resistance and boost production.
Can someone please explain to me if/why this works based on their experience and the science behind it.
Concentration/frequency of application.
Are there any harms that could happen from over application or higher concentrations
Also in the comments someone mentioned something vague about its relation with H2O2 that i didn’t really understand.
Last but not least, they also mention foliar application of humic acid , doesn’t the dark stain from the humic acid on the leaves hinder photosynthesis and isn’t a better use for it as a soil drench/amendment?
New pepper-head and grower here trying to figure out my way around!
