    Okay so I made this with the spices I had in hand and made it a bit different. I seared the pork shoulder on my cast iron on all sides. And I put it in the slow cooker. Then I added the spices which were whole peppercorns, whole cloves, bay leaves, garlic, paprika, Spanglish Asadero Carne Asada seasoning, oregano & cumin. Then I added the water, coke, and squeezed the orange juice in there and added the orange peels. I got some organic ones since I used the peel.

    I slow cooked it for idk how long 😅. Til it got to the consistency I wanted and I salted it at the end and took out all the whole spices and peels. 🙂
