New to smoking and pellet grills. Got half a brisket from HEB. This thing eats up wood chunks once you get a coal bed going.

Got a pan of beans on, along with mac and cheese.

    Looks like you have the valve at the bottom cracked…. Once you have a coal bed or some embers going, shut that sucker all the way.

    You’re looking for almost translucent smoke, not white.

    Don’t want white smoke, close that down and get that blue smoke going.

    I wouldn’t run my pellet grill that close to the house. Best case, you gunk up your siding. Worst case, you burn the house down

    All that white smoke is acrid and nasty, close your damper. Blueish smoke is the target
