    They look good but I’d think they’d be dry as hell.
    4 hours for any small piece of meat would be too long.

    That’s a long cook, they look like they are getting jerky-type rind on them. Smoke until 165 internal then pull

    That’s a very long time for thighs. How did they turn out? I usually go 400⁰ for about 40 minutes with 4 or so flips.

    I meal prep chicken thighs all the time at 225, takes 1hr 30min to 2hr….no way at that long they weren’t dry as hell. To each their own though.

    You can smoke a whole chicken at 225 for 4 hours…this is way too long

    Brine, season, sit, smoke till somewhere near 180 internal. Bonus points to crisp the skin up after with higher heat. Never had a thigh that didn’t beat any other chicken I could cook, and super forgiving. Its the pork butt of chicken. Thigh guy for life.

  7. Wow I can’t believe they are so “charred” at this temp. Mine turn out rubbery unless I go over 350
