Chili’s Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients:
Mozzarella Cheese
Eggs
Butter
Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
Honey
Chicken Broth
Italian Style Bread Crumbs
Flour
Brown Sugar
Salt
Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Oregano
Celery Salt
Chipotle Chili Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Smoked Paprika
Parsley

Directions:
Mozzarella Sticks
1. Cut mozzarella cheese into quarter inch slices.
2. Ina bowl add 1 cup of Italian breadcrumbs and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and parsley.
3. In a separate bowl add 1 cup of flour and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
4. In another bowl whisk together 3 eggs.
5. Dip the mozzarella cheese into the egg wash, then into the flour, back into the egg wash, and finally into the bread crumbs.
6. Freeze for an hour.
7. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Honey Chipotle Sauce
8. Blend together 1 can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, 1 1/2 cups of honey, and 1 cup of chicken broth.
9. In a sauce pan melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add the honey chipotle sauce and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
Nashville Hot Sauce
10. For the seasoning combine a 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 4-8 tablespoons of cayenne peppers (adjust to taste), 2 tablespoons of paprika, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of celery salt, 2 teaspoons of garlic powder, 2 teaspoons of black pepper, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of Chipotle chili pepper.
11. In a bowl combine 1/2 cup of the Nashville hot season blend and 1 cup of hot oil that was used to fry the mozzarella sticks.
12. Toss the mozzarella sticks in the sauces.
13. Enjoy.
