Friday night dinner. The picture doesn’t really do it justice… huge bowl of chicken and broccoli and cottage cheese Alfredo. 405 calories, 50 grams of protein. I could definitely have cut more calories by using less oil to fry the chicken, not deglazing the pan with beer and using lower fat milk in the sauce (I only had whole).
I steamed the broccoli separately, seasoned the chicken with salt, paprika and garlic powder, then pan fried it in the avocado oil, deglazed the pan with some and cooked covered until the chicken was done.
