I too have driven an hour east to visit this Texas Roadhouse, and it really is a solid chain restaurant. The rolls and cinnamon butter are a classic, and it’s an excellent value for a steak dinner. I like to get a ribeye with a Caesar salad and a cup of chili. Casual and affordable aren’t usually terms that apply to steakhouse. Even the meat nerds on r/steak generally agree that Texas Roadhouse is the top of its category.
