ONE-PAN MARRY ME CHICKEN ORZO is back—with over 20 million views, I can confidently say that this dish should 100% be on your menu this week. It comes together in one pan, can be made in 20-25 minutes and is true comfort food at its finest—a great family meal or date night meal, if you haven’t made it yet, consider this your sign🪧!

Makes 4-6 servings
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut up into cubes
2 tb olive oil
4-5 cloves garlic, mashed
3/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, in oil, drained
2 tsp italian seasoning
2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 cup orzo
2 3/4 cups chicken broth (or water)
3/4 cup full-fat coconut milk or heavy cream
2 large handfuls of fresh spinach
3/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Pat chicken dry and cut into cubes. Add olive oil to a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the chicken. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to cook. Add in the sun dried tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt & black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes more, then add the orzo and broth and stir well. Reduce heat to medium. Cover the skillet and cook for 12 minutes, removing the cover every few minutes to stir and ensure nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan. Once the orzo is cooked through, add the coconut milk/cream and spinach and stir for another minute until the spinach is wilted. Then, add the parmesan cheese and stir once more. Remove from heat, plate, and enjoy!

  1. Looks great. Maybe fresh tomatoes for me. Something about those sun dried ones gross me out a little

  2. I dont get it is viral the new word for new … or popular.. because its a good dish..but it isnt new

  3. Mmmmm. I seen a dozen or more recipes for Marry Me Chicken but I’ve never made it. THIS, I’d be far more likely to make, since the chicken is chopped into bit sized pieces and the rice goes into the same pot. Looks super simple and so yummy!

  4. Being made 'Viral' by teenagers who don't cook because there parents cook for them is nothing to boast about, if the parents had made you go viral then that would be OK but those parents are too busy cooking for there kids to make any video go Viral…….the delusion of people on social media is laughable….

  5. Thank you, the recipe was easy to follow and it tasted delicious! Definitely making this again☺️

  6. Tried it today. It was really delicious but next time I would try heavy cream instead of cocos milk. Thanks for the receipe

  7. Please take a moment to consider where the meat comes from. Cows, pigs, and chickens are not that different than your dogs or cats. They are smart and have feelings. They may not be as complicated as ours but they do feel and eating them for pleasure is cruel and to not mince words literally murder.
