If this Is a Poblano.. I’m jealous.. mine are still green and It’s almost Nov. getting sick of covering these for frost.

Dunno if it’s really poblano, the red feels too bright. Maybe something like Pimiento D’espelette/ padron cubanelle or a big numex, could be anything.

I read an article yesterday where if two different types of peppers are grown next to each other they can cross pollinate. So say a jalapeño and poblano grow next to each other they will be normal jalapeños and poblanos but if you try to grow more jalapeños with the seeds from them, they will end up as hybrids.
