After about 8 hrs and 13 onions later may I present the food of the gods! Salt container for reference. I’m planning on making a focaccia recipe I saw that has onions inside and on top of it so I needed to make a big batch. Since I was making some I decided to have some bratwurst which I always have to top with the correct amount of onions.
Also I’ve always called these caramelized onions but I guess they would actually classify as onion jam?
