  1. An argument could be made that instant ramen and fresh noods aren’t quite the same thing, fairly, but I think it’s a meaningless distinction for this sub. Ramen is ramen. Would eat.

Personally I always use instant ramen as a base. Ussually with fairly neutral flavoring. I don’t have the time to make my own broths unless I specifically dedicate a weekend to it, so it passes for me. 👍

That looks very good and very delicious as well 🙂

Doesn’t buldak just mean fire chicken? Is a flavour Ramen?

I think it’s sold as a Ramen. So I mean. It’s a Ramyun or whatever. But it’s more of a Ramen style. Yaki Ramen.

You’ll see stuff like Mazemen or mixed noodles. Soupless Ramen. Etc.

But as far as the noodle soup we generally associate with that word I don’t think it’s the same thing Samyang is selling in packets. They have a good noodle product but I don’t think of it as a favourite Ramen. Just a favourite spicy noodle

Buldak is basically mazesoba in my opinion and mazesoba is ramen. So I say yes!
