These tomatoes have been about this big for a month and aren't ripening. It reached freezing last night and a storm in coming in that may turn to snow, so i had to pick them now before freezing damage. If i put them inside next to the other ripening tomatoes will these turn red too? Or are these too underdeveloped and just came too late?

They sure will. You have a lot so my advice would be to get a few large paper shopping bags and divide them up into the bags. Place a banana in each bag and roll them shut. The banana will put off a gas as it ripens what will speed up the ripening process of the tomato’s.

What kind of flowers are those in the background/are you using them as ground cover?

Put ’em in a closed paper bag to trap ethylene gas. Maybe toss a banana in with them.

They will ripen if you follow the advice folks are giving – personally I do not care for them unless they are vine ripened ( personal preference) so I don’t do this.

I made a green tomato relish this year that is fantastic and simply compost the rest

Legit question, not a criticism, why are they on the sidewalk/pavement?
