I have a can of red beans and rice, and I’m noticing something odd with the calorie count. The calories listed on the can don’t match what I find online for similar products. I tried calculating it manually using the nutritional facts, and it still doesn’t add up. Even when I scan it into MyFitnessPal, it shows a different calorie amount. It’s making me think the label might be off and that there could actually be more calories than it says.
The cans I find online from this brand have different nutritional facts as well. I have included pics of the can I have, the listing on MyFitnessPal, and a couple nutritional labels of can of Southgate red beans and rice that are also different from each other.
Not sure if I am being crazy about this lol but I’d love some outside input because something has got to be off…right?

Go with what the can says
The other products are different than the one you have in your hand. You should use the nutrition info on the actual can that you have in your hand.
