Ingredients:
- 1 medium cauliflower head, grated (about 3 cups)
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp butter, melted (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions:
Prepare the Cauliflower: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Grate the cauliflower and microwave it for 5-8 minutes until softened.
Let it cool, then use a clean towel to squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower, egg, 1 cup of mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Mix until it forms a dough-like consistency.
- Shape and Bake: Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and shape it into a rectangular crust, about 1/4 inch thick. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Add Toppings and Bake Again: Remove from the oven, brush with melted butter (if using), and sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and slice into breadsticks. Serve with a side of marinara or low-carb dip if desired.
