Help me diagnose?

One of my plants had purple patterning and wilting on the leaves of one branch for most of its life, but then toward the end of the season it spread to the rest of the plant and other plants, too. It looks closest to tomato ringspot, but the rings on the fruit are much smaller and look different than the pics I’m seeing online.

Any ideas? Are the fruits safe to eat still?
