I’ve been growing peppers for the summer – a mix of hot and super hot- super chilis, Pequin, Thai chili, Habanero, and a beautiful Carolina reaper that is just ripening now (inside). This is all for a series of great hot sauces I’ve been making.

A few days ago I decided to augment them for the next few batches and found a seller on Etsy selling a ‘mix of super hots’ but with no guide about what was what. I’ve figured out most of them, but never in my life have seen something like this. These are solid, not soft/aging or wrinkling from that. They are def not Carolina reapers, which I have a lot of experience with. The brain pattern is fully thick and built into the fruit, not something from drying. They’re healthy and not as glossy as a reaper. Is this a variety or a backyard mix, or any ideas?
