For $50 US Dollars it’s a good price?

  1. Yes. I’d probably prefer the potatoes to be mashed.

Fix the typo before you print a bunch of them

  3. IwouldpickJeanluc

That seems too cheap? That’s a lot of food

  4. Where in the US? In NYC, you could charge more. In Farmville, Iowa, you’d probably have to charge less.

    Masehd –> Mashed

Green Beans Casserole is usually Green Bean Casserole, without the ‘s’ on ‘beans’

    Weird “Th” under “Beans”

“Gravy Sauce” would usually just be “Gravy”

Sweet Potato Cassserole –> get rid of an “s” in the last word

Since you’re capitalizing the first letter of each word, it should be Pie and Wine

Have a chocolate option for dessert. Easy enough to make a tort or pie.

From a FoH perspective A lot of information is missing if this is going down on tables. Is it only one side per entree? If so and guests are allowed to order more than one there should be a price to show how much additions cost, gluten free dishes being marked with a GF would go a long way too. Serving staff should know weight portions for entrees, all key ingredients, what can and can’t be substituted and potential allergen (like allium) before service. Everything on it sounds delicious but more than anything for a prix fix menu details matter because you aren’t upselling you are guiding

Also, do they only pick one side? So, no veggies if you want potatoes… or mashed potatoes but no gravy? Or do they get all the sides? I would clarify that somewhere.

Make the text a touch larger for the older eyes.

This menu sounds delicious and I’d pay the $50 . On Thanksgiving, we like to go to San Diego and eat at a restaurant in the city the menu is similar and the price is similar too

  11. Is this like pick one from each course kinda thing?

  12. Hey I can get a similar dinner or with prime rib for $2.99 in Reno…so depends on quality. If it’s good that’s a good price, and maybe even cheaper than cooking for a small group.

Nice Canva design ahah I used the same one last year

  14. wizthedude

Gonna stay in and glaze my own ham if ya know what i mean!

  15. Charirner

I’m not paying $50 to go to my mom’s Thanksgiving.

  16. n3v3rh3r0

Yes, Masehd potatoes are super rare and very exotic

  17. RoyalClient6610

Yeah, including alcohol, that’s cheap. Why couscous when the rest of the menu consists of traditional thanksgiving entrees?

Do farofa instead of “Brazilian couscous”, it would be soooo good soaking up the sauces and gravy.

I’d also remove one of the carb sides and do couve or another green veg.

Is this menu being marketed to Americans or Brasileros?

  19. Check restaurants around in your area and price point/service style and see what they are charging.

I have no clue, but I wouldn’t expect many places to do a Thanksgiving menu in Brazil.

  20. EarlVanDorn

I am just asking, but is Brazilian Couscous traditional Thanksgiving fare? It just seems to be an odd thing to have.

This is a regional thing, but where I am from we eat Cornbread “Dressing,” cooked outside the bird in a casserole dish. Is “stuffing” going to be prepared the same way? And we refer to it as Giblet Gravy rather than sauce. Liver tastes really bad to me, so I throw it away and don’t include it in the gravy. But the menu looks good.

  21. HeightExtra320

All those sides included ? Both pies too ?

    Easily $75+ !
Especially if it’s a buffet type of situation 🥂

  22. Why Brazilian couscous? Doesn’t fit with roasted turkey and apple pie

  23. PegasusWrangler

That’s not centered and looks like stock canva layout

  24. No-Proposal-7722

Brazilian cous cous? Seems out of place, average Joe isn’t going to know what it is.

  25. laitnetsixecrisis

Sounds good to me. In Australia Christmas meals are approximately $150AUD, which is about $100USD.

Though that covers the public holiday pay rate of all staff.

  26. spicy-acorn

Make it as gluten free as possible and I’d say yes. Obviously not the Mac and cheese. But I can’t tell you the amount of events I’ve been to where the mashed potatoes somehow contained flour ? And so did the salad dressing ?

  27. EdRedSled

Use of caps is inconsistent. Maybe caps for Pie and Wine.

  28. teddyburke

I used to proofread and tighten up my last chef’s menus when I was on my lunch break, and if they looked anything like this I would have asked for holiday pay for that time.

(Not trying to be mean. Based on the OP comment I’m assuming they’re ESL; it’s just hard to judge the pricing with no context other than that menu.)

  29. Wtf is Brazilian couscous?

    Edit And it’s overpriced

  30. TheBirdcast

Too many sides, mains are mains, they should be the centrepiece. More description.

Too far in one (albeit good) direction.

Still sounds great, pictures?… Pretty please?….

  31. In future I’d strongly recommend throwing your text through a word processor if your layout program doesn’t have a spell checker. If you don’t have one Google Docs is free and the spell checker isn’t terrible. It might be worth running Grammarly also.
