I was in Venice about 21 years ago and I’ve always wanted to go back. The beautiful canals and bridges, the gondolas passing by the brightly colored and historic buildings…all of this while realizing you’re literally on a floating city that was built thousands of years ago without the benefit of heavy machinery or technology. I defy any one to visit Venice and not be moved by its beauty and charm. It is singularly the most unique city in the world in my humble opinion and should not be missed if you are making a tour through Italy. And oh by the way, it has some of the most delicious food you will ever experience, from its mind-blowningly fresh and diverse seafood to its coma inducing pastas and steaks. I truly loved every second of our stay in Venice and cannot wait to come back!
