i literally just made costco ny strip two hours ago and my sear was much more dark and no where as near golden as yours. Also congrats that is a great steak.

Very consistent all the way through and around. I like a darker crust personally, but wouldn’t be mad if you put that in front of me.
What’s your method? Would be easier to give tips/advice with that.
