This is my first time doing a cake where I pipe all over instead of just spreading frosting, and there are definitely parts where you can tell the frosting got too warm, but he loved the cake. It’s made with King Arthur’s gluten free yellow cake mix, and my grandma’s frosting recipe (plus a bit of Wilton’s black icing)

How did you make the nose and ears? Are they just cupcakes? I would like to make something similar for my kid’s first bday coming up! This seems like the perfect cutest thing!
