Pomegranates should be hard. If they are soft and squishy, at best they are old and they could be rotten. 🙂. You want to buy them when they are firm and the skin is smooth, not wrinkled. They should also feel heavy for the size.
On the Rao’s website, and they should know 😀, it says (or at least it used to) that the pronunciation is Ray-ohs, just like you said it. 😀
When a family friends kids (they are like nieces to me) were younger I would always would include treats for them or other foods I knew they liked. They had 3 girls and could eat you out of house and home when they were hungry. But I didn't mind them eating at my house. They are grown now and the middle one still raids my fridge. She works and can afford to buy lunch but goes to grad school on line so I'm OK with it. My mom and dad drank their coffee black. If I drink coffee I like cream, milk or half and half with a little sugar

That's a great price on pomegranate between my granddaughters and myself we could eat 3 at a time.
My son is the same way. He loves to have pumpkin pie instead of cake.
Do you know how long 8 cans of evaporated milk would last us?😂 Our son loves that grape juice. Hope Costco has it. We’re finally getting an Aldi in our area here in Florida but we are loosing a local Winn Dixie. Aldi has no deli, bakery, meat, or seafood department.
