I’ve been tasked with making a sense and sensibility themed cake? The school i work for wants a cake for the cast party. Any ideas on how I can decorate it? I’ve never seen the play and have no idea. please help!!

You could do a buttercream transfer of the flyer you posted. Then it’s their specific play, not just Sense and Sensibility.

A simple but effective way would be to make it like a cameo pin. Thats the vibe of the poster but the poster would make an ugly cake imo if you copied the graphic.

One of my favorite novels. You can do two flavors, to acknowledge the change in circumstances that the Dashwoods experienced. You can do a tiered number—one very artistic and creative looking as a tribute to Maryann and one very simple and elegant as a tribute to Eleanore. Maybe a splash tier for Maryann and a lambeth for Eleanore. If you really want to go all out, a dark cake for Willoughby (how I detest him!) and a military-esque section for COL Brandon. Objects of significance in the novel: maps, horses, castles, picnics, poetry, etc. Have fun!
