Next year’s Star Scream pepper plant – courtesy of White Hot Peppers seeds- getting a little direct sun while the weather is nice. It will overwinter in this pot and then go outside into a big container in March. This is at two months old now as these bad boys grow veeeeeeeery slowly.

Can’t wait for next year. They grow so slow, so I’m glad I jumped a bit early. This is the lone survivor of the Star Scream peppers – I have more varieties from White Hot Peppers sprouting now at nearly 100% germination rate, but the Star Screams were from my very first attempt at growing superhots from seeds and I’ve learned much since the initial swing and miss. Self watering seedling trays are truly a gift from above – I started the Star Screams in an old fashioned seedling tray and basically let everything dry out accidentally during germination which killed all of the others. This one made it through transplant and has started to thrive.
