ALDI in Spain doesn't have any of this stuff. But I love the recipes all the same
I'm prefacing this with no-judgement I'm all about the deli meat and convenience foods and making healthy eating as easy as can be, this is not me moralizing about foodchoices; BUT
I notice there's a fair amount of ready to eat proteins in this specific run of meals and there is a current HUGE recall of brucepac ready to eat meats for listeria reasons, and because it is really hard to check meat-sourcing and also because brucepac is everywhere in the industry they are still adding to the recall list, to the extent that I'd personally avoid all chicken for the next while, and check all other ready-to-eat meats against the recall list.
I LIVE FOR EASY MEAL IDEAS… screenshotting all these ideas for later.
Excellent easy fast ideas – LOVE it! Been watching you for a few months and so appreciate the honesty and real life approach to everything!!! 😊
Love that you’re a natural girlie and not all botoxed up 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
PLEASE make more videos like this because i am actually struggling to eat enough at all (like genuinely in a bad place) due to so many factors, wrecked hunger hormones, chronic illness, and restrictive ED recovery, but im wanting to gain weight and eat but its a major uphill battle
Great video! Would love to see more videos like this one! We don’t have an Aldi but all of your ideas could be made from any grocery store. I needed the reminder to not over complicate meals. Sometimes it just feels overwhelming and I’m like I’m starving but nothing sounds good. So I really needed this video. You always make me laugh and Zoey is adorable! Thanks for keeping it so realistic. 😊❤
Fresh vegetables are too damn expensive to let them rot in my fridge. Long live bagged and frozen vegetables!
Hack for keeping fresh veggies longer, cut them and then steam or Blanche them, store in a container and put in the fridge. Future self will thank you as you pull out the portion you need and just reheat for a minute in the microwave. Also if you don’t mind breaking down a rotisserie chicken yourself (takes about 5 minutes), I can generally find those for around 6-7 dollars for an organic bird and I get enough for 4 6 oz meals. So not bad. Although it could be market based.
So glad I checked this out, even though I don’t have an Aldi near me! Great tips, and I appreciate no calories included 💜
we also have Aldi in Hungary. i will try the oats with the pumpkin, but without the powder as I'm skeptical. I'm even skeptical of oats, but i won't throw away food. i bought beef liver 2 weeks ago for 699Ft/kg (~$2) from a butcher. I was proud of myself as it was priced as oats. meat might contain 10% more protein, but cost 6-7+ times the price.
Loved this one 😊
Omg, the pooping comments: LOL. It was my morning with my kids 100%
This was great!!! An actual real life person in the kitchen.
I live in Japan, and I can't get 40% of these ingredients., and I loathe cooking. Is there anyway you can teach us the extreme basics? How did you do the brussels sprouts? What would you usually do to make a salad actually taste good, if you didn't have the dressing?
These are great meal ideas! Your arms look bomb by the way!
I’m in the UK and we have Aldi but it’s very European so no American products
I love how realistic you are I’m a busy mum, gym instructor and part time PT sometimes I’m so busy and can’t meal prep and I just have to go with the flow.
I say this to my clients too.
Life is for living we can’t be on top of everything every day.
I so love your humour too.My favourite You tube PT ❤
For vegetarians on the wrap, I tried this but subbed the deli meat for pan fried tofu planks (tofu cut in 8ish pieces coated in cornstarch and salt and pepper and pan fried in oil in a pan to golden brown)
For the salad, get super firm tofu and grate it with a box grater to get that shredded chicken look and cook in a pan with salt oil pepper garlic and onion powder (or any other seasonings you want) or just cook in bbq sauce both worked in this salad
For the pasta I subbed the chicken tenderloins for roasted chickpeas (again onion, garlic powder, salt pepper oil and a crisp up oil in a pan)
Delicious!
Loved this video! Rn my aldi has protein wraps that i use wt tuna and they're perfect!
Thank you for all the cooking ideas. Your videos already changed the way I eat. I try to have protein and vegetables with as many meals as possible…. because there is your voice in my head telling me how important this is 😊…
Perfect timing! I just moved to a new apartment within walking distance to an Aldi!
Aldi does have capers, but not all the time. I have to go searching for them and am always happy when I find them.
Cries in Aldi-hasn’t-come-to-my-region yet
"That feels hot" is such a vibe
I love cooking Brussels sprouts like that and the blueberry muffins sound great – good tip with the protein pancake mix – I will give it a try!
This is so me…fortunate to travel often so love low prep…and I am also a chicken junkie!!!
love love love those aldi seltzers
Don’t know how I missed this almost 2 weeks ago…Love Aldi! Appreciate your balance. Try to keep it whole but raising a couple boys and some nights it’s hot dogs on the fire out back and box Mac and cheese (all from Aldi) 😊
Thanks for some inspo in this. I wanna try that pickle salsa!!
I know you most probably wont like her but could you do a review on Grow with Jo……..?? And I notice that you make a lot of stuff from packages….just as simple as scrambling up three eggs in the morning.
