one of my favorite simple & delicious meals. one pan creamy chicken & rice

1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 1/2 tsp paprika
2 tsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp Jennifer Fisher universal salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
olive oil
3 garlic cloves
1/2 of a white onion, diced
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup white rice
1/4 cup heavy cream
about 1/4 cup fresh grated parmesan
