I saw actsofsourdough on TikTok making tiny sourdough turkeys, but there wasn’t a recipe and I don’t have sourdough starter nor do I know how to modify sourdough recipe to use dry yeast instead so I used this recipe: https://skandibaking.com/rundstykker-danish-breakfast-rolls/
Some turned out better than others, but they’re all real cute and delicious. Crunchy exterior, soft interior. Gonna be delicious dipped in some mashed potatoes and gravy.

those look SO GOOD. you should wait til after thanksgiving and make another batch stuffed with leftover turkey and swiss cheese. a bready take on a turducken kind of thing.

that is such a cute idea! fun fact: there is an Easter tradition in Eastern Serbia, from where I come from, where you bake pidgeon shaped buns with an Easter egg in it and you give those to your loved ones for prosperity and abundance
