What words do I need to use to describe the difference between these two bottles?

Open mouth and lipped or one works and one dumps its entire contents when squeezed

One on the right is….disappointing as it will pop it’s lid right in the middle of service. This is very sad and lonely when it happens to you. Don’t be sad.

Experience tells me that no matter how well you describe the difference, someone will still put the wrong lid on… and it will pop off right when it’s the worst time to have a big mess to clean

  4. I always tell my crew, “Wide lip, white lid. Thin lip is clear.” Then I hide or lose whichever we have less of and order more of whichever it is. Mismatched squeeze bottles are an omnipresent pet peeve.

  5. DaRealBangoSkank

A wide mouth 73mm and a standard squeeze bottle.

  6. complete and utter opposites. One works and other is useless!

  7. Zatchillac

Fill one up with Buffalo sauce and let it sit for a few days. Then you can just say “hey can you grab the orange bottle for me?”

  8. DaffodillyDarling

There is nothing different about these two bottles. If you want something distinct, get a different coloured bottle.

Lemme put it to you this way: if you can’t describe the differences, it’s because there aren’t any.

  9. ProfessionalPopular6

    ‘This one works’ and ‘guddammit’

  10. fumblebuttskins

I hate these things so much. Why can’t the tops be universal?

Bottle on the right looks like a Tablecraft Wide Mouth Squeeze Bottle.

The bottle on the left looks like a Winco Wide Mouth Squeeze Bottle.

They’re both widemouth. One looks like a Winco version the other looks like a Tablecraft. If you look on the bottom there should be something like a model number (TB…) that would be the tablecraft version. You would need to just describe the small lip on the inside as something you do or do not want. If I remember correctly, the winco has the lip and the whiter cap.

  13. French1220

On the left you have a wide lip, on the right a standard

  14. kaylafromspace

I call them both “no not that one, the other one”

Hard to tell too much from that photo other than they’re condiment squeeze bottles. One has an inner flange on the upper lip of its threaded throat, while the other has a straight opening. The flanged one has a shorter spout. That’s about all. Can’t really speak to their respective capacities.
