Randomly found Muga El Anden while picking up the Vietti. Decant needed for an hour plus where it opens up to a really nice classic Rioja, black berries, plums, little sage, some oak, nicely structured. Vietti, has to be one of the best qpr wines I’ve tasted, hence me going back for more. Not too experienced in Barberas but taste like classic Italian, of ripe red fruits, leather, super smooth. To me, no need to decant as it got slightly worst as it aired. Muga $16.90 vs Vietti $16.50, both BANGERS!

Barbera seems to be pretty great QPR across the board similar to Rioja. Ill have to give it a try
