Young wine, but even initial taste was actually pretty approachable.
With air, notes of dark plum and cherry pits came to the front, with slight yellow bellpepper notes. Fruit-forward without being jammy.
Slightly inky as well, I think that's the 15% Malbec showing.
Paired well with spicy Vijaywada Paneer Biryani (anyone who says Indian food can't go with red wines can leave now).
Solid Cabernet on a budget, would recommend to anyone wanting a fruity Napa Cab without breaking the bank.
