Here at The Wine Society, we find that our love of wine is often matched by a love of food. This love and appreciation goes beyond the plate to the provenance of the ingredients, how the dish is prepared and the culture behind its creation.
In this new online series, we take a closer look at some of the most widely planted and globally consumed “staple foods”, exploring their traditional growing regions (as most are plant-based), their importance and some of the popular dishes consumed.
