WHAT I ATE – Virginia
@ Olive Garden, Leesburg Pike, Vienna VA

Olive Garden is one of those understated go-to places when we don’t feel like cooking, but want a hot meal with a number of items without going to a buffet.

The decor has a nice Italian Wine Bar vibe to it, and it is always clean.

The never-ending soup, salad, and breadsticks are a welcome starter before any of the tasty entrees. Sometimes, that’s all we’ll do for a lite supper. The salad is simple, but crisp and fresh.
The four soups offer a variety of tastes for your mood or weather; Pasta Fagiole, Minestrone, Zuppa Toscano and Potato Gnocchi with Chicken.

The meat sauce is pretty good and you get a choice of pasta. I wish they still had the Braised Beef Shortribs on the menu, and the Bolognaise sauce!

The staff are always patient and quick with re-orders of the never-ending items.
