Grabbed this for a good price at a wine bar, the wines from Didier Dagneneau are my favourite Sauvignon Blancs. And when the opportunity comes along to try one from the last vintage than Didier Dagneneau himself produced. It’s a no-brainer. Had a 2008 Buisson Renard once before that was amazing, so my hopes were high. And I’m glad to say it didn’t disappoint.

    ##Tasting note:
Candied lemon, ripe fruits, peach, apple, honey, a tertiary grass note and great minerality. Fresh acidity and a long finish.

Quite astonishing that this wine is still presenting so well and with so much energy. A very unique wine that really makes you think with every sip.
