I usually don’t put the dry arbol chilies in the oven but only have a induction cooktop so can’t fire roast the tomatoes, so I added the chilies to the oven for that charred flavor.

    Don’t cook the chili arbol peppers longer than 30-60 seconds in hot skillet. (Skip the oven) Those you cooked there are black, you burned them a bit.. Not saying you can’t use them but the flavor will be a little bit on the over charred side. Nice salsa!
