I flavored the dough with orange zest and orange blossom water, and the topping with vanilla. My fiancé is Mexican and his whole family knows I’ve gone deep down the baking/breadmaking rabbithole this last year, but they’ve never had any of my baking other than a few Christmas cookies I’ve made for years. Going to bring a batch of these to Thanksgiving and hope they impress!
