Craisins.

Usually blueberries for me. I also deliberately let my bananas get brown and soft so I just *have* to make banana bread.

I prefer plain … no chips, no walnuts, no nothing. Just plain banana bread. It’s what I grew up eating and that’s just fine with me.

I’ll make one of each so it’s dealer’s choice

Sure do! Added some last night to my banana bread. Delicious.

I do, and I’m told that it’s a mortal sin but it’s not YOUR banana bread, it is MY banana bread and I put chocolate in if I want.
JennyJ231
I do. I use dark chocolate chips and it comes out so good. The chips keep the moist from the inside and provide such a subtle dark taste that goes perfect with the sweetness of the banana bread. I found it far better an addition than vanilla extract.

I LOVE chocolate chips in my banana bread, but my husband is not a fan, so I switch it up depending on how much of a sweet tooth I have.

No. It overwhelms the banana flavor leaving you only with chocolate. I love chocolate. But it has no place in my banana bread

No, but we do add a bit of mango pulp.
I do, the kids love it. I use the mini chips, they add just enough.
