Bringing plants in for the winter… Is this one still healthy? What are the dark colors/leaf blotches?

Sorry but your leaves look very bad. Next time give them something like tomato fertilizer. The peppers are changing color, some will turn black then red

The dark spots on the peppers are fine, they are just ripening, but the leaves don’t look great at all. Overwintering plants helps you get a jump start on the next growing season and hopefully bigger yields too, but this plant doesn’t look very healthy or worth saving to me. I say you’re much better off starting over next year than screwing around with this plant all winter, it might not even last.

My peppers leaves started yellowing by the end of the season. Might’ve been the lack of nitrogen since I stopped fertilizing once the temps got lower, or the cold itself. They weren’t as bad as what’s in the picture but I still think you can give overwintering a shot. Nothing to lose IMO, unless you got a ton of plants you can overwinter. Trim the plants and leaves and goodluck
