Im a fan of eating korean noodles for my every meal. This is my first time to buy this at our local grocery. However, I noticed there are holes in the packaging. And there's no another plastic protecting the noodles. Is this still safe for consumption?

Afaik, storing products in grocery and even their warehouse/stockrooms in our country can be infested with rats and cockroaches. That's why I am shocked with this packaging design?

    They usually come with these holes made on purpose. I never had any problems,  besides I feel like when you pre-soak them it “washes” them, plus cooking kills any additional bacteria.

    It’s a dried noodle, air is not going to hurt it.

    I was told that it is there because of moisture control… Though I still don’t understand it, but that was the answer I got before…
