I suppose I should note my recipe. It’s really simple, and can be done by anyone. Trust me, I’m pretty sure I’ve made breakfast cereal catching fire before, and I was able to do this.
– 3/4 cups vinegar. – 1 cup water. – 1 tbsp salt. – Bring to a boil.
– 6 Kirby Cucumbers – 6 habs (mine are grown from my garden!!) – Cut the tip and stem of the habs – Chop bout a dozen stems of dill, put them, along with a few full sprigs of dill into the jar with the cucumbers and habs. – Don’t run your eyes after you do this. Not that I would know. – Add red chili flakes to taste – Pour still boiling brine mixture into the jar. – Let sit until room temp – Refrigerate for at minimum 24 hours, preferably 3 to 5 days
