Creamy Roasted Capsicum Hummus Recipe

In todayβs video, we’re making a deliciously creamy Roasted Capsicum Hummus thatβs perfect for dipping, spreading, or enjoying as a flavorful snack! Follow along for an easy recipe that combines the nutty taste of tahini with the sweetness of roasted capsicum, resulting in a delightful and healthy dip.
Ingredients:
2 cups chickpeas (soaked for 3 hours and boiled)
1 roasted capsicum (bell pepper)
1/4 cup tahini
1 clove garlic
Salt (to taste)
Red pepper powder (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup water (from boiling the chickpeas)
Instructions:
Start by soaking 2 cups of chickpeas for 3 hours, then boil them until tender.
Roast your capsicum until the skin is charred, then let it cool and remove the outer burnt layer.
In a blender, combine the boiled chickpeas, roasted capsicum, tahini, garlic, salt, red pepper powder, cumin powder, olive oil, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup of the reserved chickpea boiling water.
Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting the consistency with more water if necessary.
Taste and tweak the seasoning to your liking, then serve with your favorite veggies or pita chips!
