Back in about 2010 or so it was a banner year for onions and they were all that big, at least the ones available to commercial kitchens were anyway. I’ve never seen em that big since, it was freakin bonkers. There were years back in the 90s when carrots were as big as little league baseball bats too. Freakin crazy
