*Garlic Herb Roasted Turkey*

12-18 Lb. Turkey
Compound Butter
1/2 Tsp Basil
1/2 Tsp Oregano

*Compound Butter*
2 sticks of Butter
2 Tsp Oregano
1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp Sea Salt
2 Tbsp Fresh Garlic

– Steps

1.) Using room temperature butter add all the ingredients for the compound butter and mix
2.) Pat the turkey dry
2.) Rub the turkey with the compound butter
3.) Sprinkle the turkey with basil and oregano
4.) Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 3.5 hours
5.) Remove the foil and bake for 20-30 minutes longer (this helps the turkey get the crispy skin)
*Cook times may vary depending on the size of the turkey*

Tip: Utilize a thermometer to ensure the turkey reaches 165 degrees. However, take it out of the oven when it hits approximately 155 degrees, as carry-over cooking will raise the temperature to the desired 165 degrees.

Tip: Allow Turkey to rest with a foil tent covering the turkey for 20-30 before cutting for a juicy turkey

*Turkey Melt*

2 Slices of Sourdough Bread
1 Slice of Cheddar Cheese
4 oz Leftover Turkey
1 Tbsp butter to coat pan
