Just finished this dough trough. This was a test run, so it’s not perfect. I used 1” common boards and all I have it a circular saw. There is no hardware in it, all screws have been replaced with wooden dowels. I think the volume is around 90 qts? I can’t wait to see how mixing a large amount of dough by hand goes.

    This is a cool thing and I don’t want to be negative about the cool thing you’ve built at all, but I have heard that using these is back-breaking. Do you often need that much dough? What motivated you to build it? If this is a test run, that suggests you need a bunch of these, so I’m really curious.

    What adhesive did you use for the woods? Is it non toxic/safe for foods?

    Finish it with a food safe oil or its juat a giant petri dish.
