2013 Dom, served extra cold and without decanting.

Beautiful nose with hints of everything – floral, pear, peach, even damask rose, muted at first and after a few hours more produced though still a little shy.

Acid and lemony to the palate (in a good way) when paired with tiger prawns but blossoms with the extra fat from the crisps bring out the Pinot noir earth.

Undeniable, depth, power and purity. To many, probably 10-15 years too young. To me – delicious!

  1. Potato chips is one of the single best pairings with white wine, esp bubbles.

Never heard of decanting bubbly. Unless you just want white wine.
