Looking to finally buy some BIFL Pepper and Salt mills, and everyone talks about how great Peugeots are. Trying to get something on sale, and my partner and I really like the look of the Peugeot 'Line', 'Night', and 'Boreal' series more than their traditional looking mills. Has anyone tried these? I see so many positive reviews from their other classic looking mills, but I can't seem to see any reviews for these, other than what is on their website, which obviously I take with a grain of salt… (Wow, pun intended)
Lastly, does anyone know if there's a big difference between these? The 'Night' series are my favourite looking, but they don't seem to come in the same height as the other two. After that, the 'Line' seem to look better, using nicer materials, but is it worth twice the price of the 'Boreal' set?
Any advice is appreciated. I've never bought salt and pepper mills and am so tired of using the disposable ones from the grocery store 🙂

Go to your local restaurant supply, they know which one works. I bought one because my Peugeot wasn’t working great, and now the Peugeot is in second service
My biggest word of advice is DO NOT order these from Amazon. Amazon is filled with fakes (especially when “sold and shipped by Amazon”).
Order from Peugeot directly (looks like you are) but wanted to call that out.
I’d also add to just get a pepper mill and use a salt cellar instead. Salt grinders can’t use metal (it will rust) so plastic and ceramic need to be used, no matter the brand salt grinders *will* break. The idea behind a grinder is that the item you’re grinding stays whole (fresh) until the moment you need it. This logic goes out the window with salt because salt is always fresh and never expires or degrades in quality like pre-ground pepper would.
I get the look behind these, but absolutely hate the load process. If you aren’t 100% sold on the aesthetic, would highly recommend the Unicorn Magnum or Magnum Plus.
For reference – the Peugeots load by unscrewing the top bit and pouring down the hole that’s there. Except there’s multiple pieces of metal in the way of the hole for the top and structure.
The Magnums have a side load that slides open that fits a funnel.
For pepper, check out the [Mann pepper cannon](https://mannkitchen.com/). Yes, it’s $199, but it is worth it. This thing is solid. It’s incredible and I love it. It will last me forever.
They’ve said that they’re working on a salt version and when that comes out, I will buy it, too!
