So I grew 4 Ghost Pepper and 4 Carolina Reaper plants.

The plants all still have fruit but end of season and I don't expect more than maybe a few dozen more.

This was my last month and a half produce. I dried them all and keep in the 2 gallon jug. I plan to grind up shortly.

How does drying impact the heat level? Some say fresh is hottest. Some say drying concentrates the capsaicin.

It’s pretty amazing the flavors from drying certain peppers. One year I had a Fatalii plant that gave off like 100 peppers. Same heat as a strong habanero but Fatalii are very citrucy. When I dried and ground it up it tasted like spicy lemony powder. I wanna try with other super flavorful peppers
