Incredibly fresh and elegant, lemon zest and grapefruit aromas with a fine minerality and hints of hazelnuts. Beautifully put together. On the hunt for some reds from the same producer now.

Tasted a few of his parcellar aligote, his Marsannay white 19, Clos du Roy and L’Ancestrale 20. I must say I’m blown away by the quality of his wine, and (in france) the prices are still reasonable. Definitely one of my favourite burgundy producer.

  2. The reds are incredible, and the aligote is quite nice. Never had chard from them! Will have to try this. Keep up the hunt!

Pataille is my favourite modern producer of Burgundy. Lovely guy, too. Met him a few times.

  4. Had the Champs Forey Aligoté last week by Pataille which was also great. Great freshness and texture.
Definitely excited to explore his Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
